Competitions

Intrecci contemporanei

Code0039 also promotes and launches competitions aimed at both creative professionals and students.

An example is the ‘Intrecci Contemporanei per il Castello di Roccascalegna’ competition held in 2016.

Award-winning finalists:

Section 1 – Architects, Designers, Creatives, Artisans: The winner, receiving the prize of €1,000.00 (gross of VAT and all other legal charges) and a production/distribution contract with Code0039, is Giorgia Rossini with the project “Intrecci”.

Honourable mention to “Light Cheese” by Matteo Bosio and Rachele Fosco for the originality and reinterpretation of the theme of tradition, with a €100 voucher to be spent at Feltrinelli bookshops.

Section 2 – Students: The winner, receiving a design magazine subscription and a production/distribution contract with CODE0039, plus an internship at the cooperative to develop their product for market, is Bruno Delano Regnicoli Benitez with the project “Verticality”.

Honourable mention to the project “Meeto” by Aldo Deli. The jury decided to award the student with a workshop at the Cooperative.

The exhibition lasted one year in the stunning setting of Roccascalegna Castle.
